Archbishop Sentanu at Ballagarey

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, recently spent two days on the Island and included a short visit to the Methodist chapel in St Marks — Ballagarey. The minister of the church, Revd Kath Corkish, was able to share with him and other ecumenical guests something of the remarkable story of Ballagarey Chapel where for the past three years the church has been meeting daily to pray blessings upon the local community, and recently completed a significant extension to the building.
