The building project which Port Erin Methodist Church have been planning for some time is now ready to begin.
The contract has been awarded to J & J Builders, and we anticipate that Phase 1 will begin imminently. The first stage is to make changes in our Hall, removing staging and creating storage space. This should take in the region of 3-4 weeks.
As soon as this is complete, the next phase is to create a new main entrance to our building, at the side adjacent to the Department of Home Affairs building (former police station). This will include improved disabled access and when finished will be landscaped.
The third phase will be to create an extended Worship Area, and improve our toilet and baby changing facilities.
This project will enable a more integrated use of our building as a Centre for both community use and worship life.
