Action for Hope

The Methodist Churches response and call to action for the climate crisis

In response to the crisis, the Methodist Church in the 2020 Conference has set an inspirational target of becoming a net zero carbon emissions church by 2030. This is to demonstrate our commitment to action as Christians to safeguard God's glorious Kingdom.
It is often said that "We will not believe the crisis until we are filming it". This time draws closer as we think of the increased volume
of rain, the increasing strength of the winds and the chaos this causes to our Island.

  • The bad news is there is no one overnight cure.
  • The good news is that there is plenty which each and every one of us can do to make a difference, and lots of help out there for every step of the way.

By clicking HERE you will find a single page of information to get you inspired and give you some ideas of how to get started.
