David began his ministry in Loughbrough in 1997 where he served as free-church chaplain to the University and within a team ministry overseeing the town centre churches. He came to the Isle of Man in 2004, working with churches in the Douglas area for 12 years before moving south to serve amongst the southern group of churches.
In 2020 he stepped out of circuit ministry to develop a long-held dream, that of setting up a Retreat House on the Isle of Man. He is now Community Warden of the new Thie dy Vea Retreat House in Peel. (Thie dy Vea is Manx Gaelic for 'House of Life').
