He was born and brought up in Leicester and prior to coming to Mann served for 20 years in two East Midlands Circuits: Newark & Southwell, and Erewash Valley. Before entering ministry he was Shipping Manager for a large engineering company in Leicester. He trained at the former Anglican Theological College in Lincoln.
Richard, along with Rev Dr Janet Corlett, is the minister at Promenade, Pulrose and Trinity.
